About Me

Born in 1961, I grew up in Ohio where I resided for 44 years. I was a machine mechanic until graduating The Ohio State University in 1994 at which time I became a teacher. I moved to Canada in 2005 and recently retired fom teaching.

I’ve played guitar since I was 15 and began building tube amps in 2006. The first amp build was a GDS 1974x. I’ve since built an improved 5e3 circuit from Trinity Amps, A modified 5f2a Tweed Princeton and a 5f1 Champ from parts I sourced.

My wife Jan and I live on the Niagara Escarpment in Ontario.
